While the game isnt perfect, it stuns with its physics, creativity and sheer sense of vertigo when rotating through this enjoyable puzzler.

This is one of the most fun games in the app store. It is more complex than some apps such as ABs, yet is still a simple, fun game to play. It has crashed once or twice but it did remember where I left off so it was okay. Anyone who likes a stimulating, fun game should get this app.

no question, best game on the mac app store so far. its fun and colorfull, thoughtful and intriuging. I would love to see an expansion pak of new levels in the future!

First, the environment - the game is beautifully illustrated, and the music and sounds are cool and add something to the experience rather than just getting annoying. Now, the game play - the puzzles you have to solve to get yourself through the wierd physical realms of each level are entertaining and require some thought. Each level comes with some new challenge you havent seen before. AYIM has hit just the right note of being challenging enough to stay interesting, but not so pointlessly impossible and repetitive as to make it no longer fun. Full of clever little "Aha!" moments and "Oh, cool!" features. A great game for the price, and thoroughly addictive. You go, you Austrian students, you.

Pros: The graphics and sound effects are very unique, almost artistic. The different features that come into play make it an absolutely addictive assortment of puzzles. The premise is to use the ability to switch the direction of gravity to get through each barrier: avoiding killer lizards and kooky monkeys; manipulating water droplets, bats, and bees; disappearing and reappearing ledges to jump off of; creating fire to burn down obstacles; avoiding rolling rocks that "tsilch" you; swings to get you from one place to another; spring boards.... the list goes on and on. Theres also a whole list of goals that you can work on achieving in the game, even though you may have already passed through every level (which will definitely take a while). Its VERY difficult to get bored with this game, thus defining its awesomeness. Cons: Unless you happen to be a natural AYIM genius, youll probably want to stab your computer at some point. There are some obstacles where if you dont do everything JUST SO, you die. No exceptions. And you WILL die..... and die, and die, and die, and die until you finally get it right. I think I spent a whole hour just overcoming ONE hurdle that was absolutely taunting me because I couldnt figure it out. I looked online for tips and tricks or just some advice but theres barely anything except a forum or two. Conclusion: Dont let the inevitability of frustration deter you from trying this game. Youll figure it out... hopefully. Theres some AWESOME fun and entertaining times to be had here! Along with a good bit of head-scratching ; )

does anyone know how to get by the lizard, that sticks his tounge out and kills you, kinda in the beg on the game

I wish it had a "look ahead" feature.. so I could see what was down the road. But thats part of the game play I suspect. A great fune game. Get it.

This game reminds me of echochrome for the PS3. If you enjoyed echochrome or just like puzzles with a twist youll love this game.

I just downloaded the app and checked for updates, so I have the most recent version. However, when I launch it, I only get a black screen. I can quit the app, but cant do anything else. There really needs to be a way to return apps on the app store! Fix the problem!

Ive gotta say, Im impressed to the bone. This game is easy going, beautiful and quite backwards. My mind is upside down with it and my kids love its challenge! I recommend this game, its one of the most unique approaches Ive seen. The level design is fantastic and the graphics and sounds are _very_ nicely done. I hope to see more from these folks!

I have not had any crashes, but since I reached the third level, there are parts of the "world" that move when they shouldnt. I am not referring to the rocks that break off, but to parts of the scenery that change. If one of these moving parts covers the ground, and I walk to it, I am lost behind it. These moving parts are the only things in the game that use straight lines so they are incongruous and obviously not intended to be there. That said, this is a thorougly enjoyable game. When the bugs are addressed, this is easily a Five Star game.

Good game, love the idea, but the game does get annoying when you cant get to the next level and somtimes gets me sick when playing. It is fun sometimes, not the best game however.

absolutely loved this game, Im not even a gamer and I just couldnt get enough. the levels are beautiful, my only complaint is that I felt like there could have been more. I was really very disappointed to reach the last one and thought, for $5, there could have been more in terms of substance but I definitely got my moneys worth. And I was always so excited about the next time I would be able to play it. Very fun, light, as someone else said challenging but not hopelessly so. I will be watching out for a sequel perhaps? please? :D
